Barn Cottage is located in the lovely village of Farley Green, in the of the Surrey Hills near Guildford. The Surrey Hills offer some of the best walking, riding and cycling (especially mountain biking) in the south east. They are designated an "area of outstanding natural beauty" and are often used for by film crews looking for traditional english rural settings; recently both "Bridget Jones Diary" and "The Holiday" were filmed here. Farley Green is about two miles from the picturesque village of Shere, and about 7 miles from the historic market town of Guildford, with it's castle and cobbled high-street.
